Mission Statement

As Catholics of St. Gianna Parish, in communion with our Archbishop, and our Holy Father, the Bishop of Rome, we are called by Jesus Christ to be His body, the Church, in our local community and to fully live the Gospel.

With faith, hope and charity, we strive to live our discipleship by fervent prayer, inspired worship, sound teaching, and sharing our faith with those in physical and spiritual need.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS - JANUARY 13, 2017

His Eminence, Raymond Cardinal Burke will celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at St. Gianna's on Friday, January 13 at 6:00 pm. Cardinal Burke founded our parish and this will be the first time he has been able to visit our Church and celebrate the Holy Mass. There will be a reception following in our Parish Hall.
ADVENT BY CANDLELIGHT

The St. Gianna Ladies Auxiliary invites the ladies of the parish (and beyond) to our annual "Advent By Candlelight" event on Friday, Dec. 2, at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

It is a time to gather together in a prayerful, peaceful way. Fr. Elliott will speak, there will be music, the hall will be decorated with Advent colors and candlelight, and we will have light refreshments.

ST. GIANNA CATHOLIC BOOK CLUB

The selection for December is the Peter Kreeft book, How to Be Holy: First Steps in Becoming a Saint.

The next meeting is Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at 7:00 P.M. in the parish office to discuss this book.

Dr. Gianna Emanuela Molla, the daughter of our patron saint, is working to raise funds to restore their family home, the church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, and build the St. Gianna Beretta Molla International Center.

OUR LADY OF FATIMA
TRAVELING STATUE

Our Lady Undoer of Knots Legion of Mary has a traveling statue of Our Lady of Fatima available to any family who would like to schedule a visit. Sign up sheets are on the table in the vestibule of the church or you can call Nancy Battis at 636-751-6147.
PRAYER SHAWLS
Blessed Prayer Shawls are now available at St. Gianna’s thanks to Immaculate Conception Dardenne. If you or someone you know is in need of consolation, healing, guidance, prayers and deliverance from afflictions, please call the parish office, 636-327-3639 to request a shawl. Please provide the name of the prayer shawl recipient so that it can be added to ICD’s book of recipients for continuous prayers. Donations are welcome for the shawls. A typical donation is between $15 - $20.
